This would be irresponsible and open them to liability concerns.

It is the same sort of situation you run across in "pressing" an untrained person into service as a firefighter or medic. And someone verbally saying they are trained doesn't cut it in a court room. They must have a training affiliation with the organization.

It is a good story and if the police has a record of those with a firearm permit, then they could help the police person if they come upon something they need help to handle. But if you carry a gun you should be at the fireing range often to prove you can handle it in a safety way. Many police and others do not go to the range enough to hit a target at 50 ft.
Why do you need to hit something at 50ft? That's way to far.

I must add my congratulations to Mr. St.Johns on standing up for his right to bear arms. I carry and I would be very happy to share a theatre, a resturant or any other place with my fellow armed Americans. Do you think the police will always be there to protect you when some nutjob comes in to rob the place? I will protect myself. Thank you.

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Capricorn

A certain person is strong-willed with the Full Moon in your emotional house of others. It's a lunar eclipse too, so this could lead to some ructions in which everyone becomes firmly entrenched in their own opinions and refuses to acknowledge anyone else's point of view. Get the arguments out of the way early on, so you can then concentrate on having a really enjoyable New Year's Eve.
