Fewer seminarians in diocese of Syracuse. Is Cunningham frightening them away?
That would not be hard to believe. Still find it mind blowing that sneering, crooked-mouth snake oil salesman was made a bishop.

Any more parishes being clustered, linked, yoked,

You're preaching to the choir. Chalupka has EVERYONE beat in the snake oil department. At least 1,000 people who showed up for his last Mass bought into it. He's the master, no doubt about it. He was born to sell used cars, not consecrate hosts. Bet he becomes a millionaire from it! On the flip side, would anyone who knows what he pulled at CC still buy a car from him?

Or, are any more parishes being made a "specialty" Oratory like St. Casimir?

Some oratories are made to abide by the rules, and not even have non-liturgical events like retreats, and Lenten events. They are unlike St. Casimir church who can act a a separate sort of oratory, just like a parish.
maybe they are one of the new "non-oratory" Oratories.
There are still three parishes in VERY close proximity in that neighborhood, but in other areas of Buffalo many or all but one church has been closed.

Krysa RULES! He was rewarded very handsomely by the chancery for leaving Blessed Mary Angela Parish in shambles. No one can mess with his Polish playground. St.Cas is his entitlement. His successor at BMA and good buddy Matt Nycz is another "Sneaky Pete" whose follow through on anything in my parish leaves a lot to be desired. No transparency here either -- none whatsoever.

Parishioners are gradually leaving Casimir's for other parishes. I'm rather surprised this is happening so fast. A number of good people - very involved and members for years - have left. They've found out for themselves that Krysa is so full of himself, they just can't go to Mass and not be distracted by his self-centered style of leadership. Perhaps this is Regina's more subtle way of attempting to close a parish by having Krysa assigned to it so that it falls from within.

You got that part about Regina right in spades! Krysa is a one-man wrecking crew. No parish could stomach him for very long. Any parish he's at instantly becomes his Polish playground and he couldn't care less about the parishioners who won't play in the same sandbox with him. They left in droves in Dunkirk, I can tell you that.

Our Lady of Home, Holy Cross and Holy Angels will remain independent
but linked parishes with one OMI pastor. Freddy remains the absentee pastor at St. Anthony's. The Latin Mass Community is rumbling.

The Getzemany Abbey suffered a $1M embezzlement. Oh, the poor Cistercians! Let’s help them out. Place your order of cheese and jams and fruitcakes… Hum… Finger licking good!
