The Diocese has shown once again that it has no regard for the wishes of the faithful. The people in Niagara Falls spent two years meeting and creating proposals to address the situation. In the final proposal they unanimously chose Holy Trinity as the site to remain open. Sr. Regina Murphy switched this to St. Stanislaus Kostka, possibly the least inspiring church in the city, with no parking, and Kmiec agreed to it. The whole process on the part of the parishioners was a charade. And closing St. Mary's in Lockport and Ascension in North Tonawanda - with 1000 families each??? It defies logic. I hope the Diocese gets mass defections because that's what it deserves.
Bishop will be forced to close more churches due to demographic and financial problems in slums areas like some sections of Buffalo, Lackawanna, Niagara Falls, etc.

What's with these Polish priests like Chalupka? Wydaminski? Bialkowski? Jasinski? Kaukus? Ropelski?
Did Ropelski work at one time at the Chancery? What documents did he destroy?

Evangilize the poor, the homeless, the prostitutes, the drug addicts, the less fortunate., the sick and infirm Just like pope francis says you should do and not by the bishops motto of abandon at all costs.

3 years have passed since 3 people from 3 different parishes accused Bialkowski of touching them. Has the Review Committee made any public statement on this? The Warren Commission did not take as long! I realize this priest has not been returned to being assigned but still a public disclosure must be made. There needs to be closure for his victims!

I"be been told that the computer hacking by Andrew and James complicated everything. If there had been some evidence of sexual abuse, it could help. Perhaps they"re still waiting for that.
