What are the chances you can become independent. Think Nardin.
Well they are continuing to register students for next year. According to their website they had a kindergarten shadow day today so they are moving forward. Rather they stay open or not I think has to be determined rather soon. You do not want to provide parents with false expectations.

My concern is if the school does close the church will suffer with lost of parishioners. They will move to the parish where they have registered their children. It has been a rough few years at the parish pastor wise with so much turn over and Father Gary in his late 60's we maybe looking at another pastor coming in the near future. The closing of the school and lost of parishoners maybe tough to overcome.

I agree especially if it helps people to pray. Surgeons practice on body parts all the time..Still better than cremation . All of us will be relics someday and a lot of us look like relics already.
Image someone is loaned a "relic". The "relic" gets tangled in the sheets of the sick person's hospital bed. The "relic" is replaced by a similar piece of cloth. The "relic" continues its circulation. The point is, do you really think these are actual relics?

What is going on with the Outreach Program at St. Christopher's Parish? What happened to Carol Williams?

What is going on at Corpus Christi Church?
The place is a mess. They are broke, and so few go there anymore. Very Sad!

What was the audited balance sheet of each closed parish/school? How were assets/liabilities disposed of? Were affiliated parish/school accounts ever audited? Should we ask the Bishop of Bling?

Give us ONE example of a logical answer that the Bishop gave.

Kudos to Pope Francis for making that hedonistic German bishop step down. He should send him to a leper colony.

Easter and Dyngus Day are just around the corner. Time for East Buffalo Polonia to come alive once more for just one week. Bring on the drunken suburban youth who will line the pockets of Airbirne Eddie. Also, a time for the DWI attorneys to make money as well as personal injury attorneys. You have to admire what Polish Pride creates.

Too bad Francis wasn't around when that little twerp Edward Grosz spent 8 million dollars on renovating his palace at St. Stans. Talk about hedonistic!

The fact that the Bishop of Limburg has not been arrested indicates that there is more to the story than the media reported (ex. His conservativism, co-responsibility of his clerical and lay consultants, previous administrations, etc.) A 108 page report by a special commission is available on line (German) The Vatican said that “in due course the bishop will receive another assignment.”

I guess they decided not to give Grosz another assignment as a result of his spending habits. Even with a shortage of priests, you would think Malone would let him be in a parish, but I guess he can't trust him with a parish checking account.
