Dear People of the Diocese,

I know it may sound fishy that the a priest would suddenly resign just in time for my secretary to take his place, but please try to believe it to be true. Even if it is not, please believe it. It's not that I am giving my secretary special treatment. It's not I tell you. Well, OK, maybe it is, but let's keep that among ourselves.

Basic question: Why is Zuffoletto being force to resign? Something funny going on. He des have his Navy pension, but with the DOB so short of priests why is he being sent out to pasture? He is certainly no worse than most DOB priest and probably somewhat better.

And just where would they put Edju? He is slightly over the usual appointment age. Bishops over 68 are rarely given new assignments.

Lewiston will now have that Pepe La Pew smell to it. I hear that Sister Destructo wants to move to Youngstown to a lakefront cottage.

I didn't know Lewiston was posted.
Lewiston was not posted, it was 'sudden death resignation' of Fr. Zuffoletto by vocal force.

Speaking of the Ransomville hut, I'm surprised the Ransomville hut owner wasn't vying for the position of "Secretary to the Bishop".

Maybe she can move by the river instead - Stella Niagara. I'm sure the nuns would have a room for her there!

I do not know whatever I am supposed to know. Anyway, if it is true, I predicted LiPuma's "ouster" quite some time ago. I just wonder why it took this long. Every bishop has replaced his secretary within a year of his appointment. LiPuma will probably get a parish as did Murphy, Williamson, Popadick et al. and he can forget about getting a miter. Too many people are wise to him.

Yep. St. Peter's - one of the richest parishes in Niagara County -- beautiful location, beautiful rectory.

You never know! Perhaps, Shawn B. might be invited to 'spy' on everybody in Niagara County.
