It took so long because of Fr. Joe's suicide. LiPuma wasn't looking good, the family is suing and to remove him too soon after that would only add fuel to the flames. Have I figured it out?
Yes. Dunkirk, I think you have got it right.

The blog announced this months ago. It is amazing how "the blog" knows before everyone else. This has happened over and over again during these past 5 years. If you want to know something, check the blog.
It's like the nose. The nose knows.

Thank God for her insight and knowledge about these things.
She has kept our fair Diocese "in the know" for quite a long time.

Why is Dunkirk's priest claiming he is counseling her to give up her evil blog ways?

LiPuma has been kept updated on his progress in silencing her.

Fr. Nycz has been after me about my columns from the get-go. Never mentioned the blog to me once - how can he without giving it away that he reads it? Haven't written any columns about him because he's too vanilla. Krysa had parishioners going ballistic all the time over the stunts he pulled. Made for interesting reading, for sure. I did write a column about that famous chandelier for my hometown paper. You know, the one where Fr. Matt went back on his word after he sold them as memorials then never followed through to make them so. Here's the column with the mention at the end of that elusive plaque that definitely is NOT forthcoming.

Thanks for the ego boost. My info comes from both impeccable sources and the diocesan school of hard knocks. We have all grown on this blog by sharing reliable information, making it increasingly difficult for the diocese to pull the wool over the faithful's eyes as it has done since its inception. How else would people in all eight counties of the diocese know what is going on with the other parishes? There IS strength in numbers.

Dear People of the Diocese,

I know it may sound fishy that the a priest would suddenly resign just in time for my secretary to take his place, but please try to believe it to be true. Even if it is not, please believe it. It's not that I am giving my secretary special treatment. It's not I tell you. Well, OK, maybe it is, but let's keep that among ourselves.

Basic question: Why is Zuffoletto being force to resign? Something funny going on. He des have his Navy pension, but with the DOB so short of priests why is he being sent out to pasture? He is certainly no worse than most DOB priest and probably somewhat better.

And just where would they put Edju? He is slightly over the usual appointment age. Bishops over 68 are rarely given new assignments.
