I appreciate a Poltician that doesnt pander to America's 1000's of Special Interest groups (such as those I listed on 6/5).
The Leftist Politics of "Buying" votes from the Special Interest groups, have created all kinds of Laws that have unintended consequences much worse than the problem the Law was created to address.
This is the single Most destructive truth about Leftists.......Thier Emotional Reaction to problems, does not make good law.
TRhe left owns all the "Social Engineering laws of the past 1/2 century.
It is the unintended (Not well "Thought" out)consequences that have created a culture of greed.
Ms bachman gets my vote as long as she continues to legislate very little......I am tired of Politicians "doing" .
The Politician that makes no Law, is my kinda Politician.
You actually make some big-picture sense here! It makes sense for a Libertarian who, lacking a Libertarian office-holder to support, would choose to support a demonstrably ineffective Congressperson BECAUSE s/he is ineffective. When convinced that both parties are over-legislating, supporting a figurehead capable only of silly proposals (e.g., CFL issue) that have no chance of enactment is sound thinking, in a realpolitik way. "The Politician that makes no law, is my kinda Politician."

DING! DING! DING! We have a winner! For being the first to articulate Rep. Bachman's true strengths as a legislator, we have a pair of front-row tickets to the Democratic National Convention in Denver, with round-trip airfare to Sky Harbor. Lodging and shuttle-bus fares not included. Meals will be thrown by protestors,

Just what we need is another lame brain to run for office in an
effort to get his head into the public trough so the tax payers
can keep paying and paying and paying for all these lame
brained politicians to live like royalty. I think we should fire
the whole government and start over again, the current do
nothing, know nothing politicians we've hired are running this
country into the ground.

To some, Do Nothing / Know Nothing politicians are a GOOD THING! It is just a way to keep Gov't small.

No, it won't.
Dont be to sure.....Situations tend to reach "Critical mass"...How much more wealth do the non-productive Government classes think the productive will "Invest" in the "March to the Cliff"!

The Founders would roll over in their graves if they knew that in America today, citizens sre forced from their homes because they cannot afford to pay the Confiscatory property taxes used to Feed teachers at the Public Troughs. Teachers in schools that have 20%+ failure rates.
