Neither myself or roboblogger needs forgiveness when YOU don't read the linked story and then find your self in the right pew in the wrong church.

TEC blesses everyone and everything but the faithful who left the TEC. Instead they go to court to take the money, endowments, and churches of any who are faithful to the Bible. But, I suppose the animals leave feeling particularly blessed -- more so than if they hadn't had the apostolic laying on of hands -- maybe some of presiding bishops now.

Dear "One Who Does Not Listen,"

Read your own post.

You write, "Instead they go to take the money ... of any who are faithful to the Bible."

#1. Those who have left TEC have always been free to go.

#2. Those who leave and have left always are given a blessing of love and support in hope that they are able to find their way to the Lord.

#3. Those who have left, attempting to divorce themselves from all authority that they had received from TEC during their stewardship of things that had been given to TEC, while simultaneously absconding from TEC with every tangible TEC asset as they go, are deluded.

They cannot prove that every asset and Dollar in value that they are attempting to possess, that had previously been given to TEC, came from individuals who held exactly the same attitudes and beliefs as these mutineers now have.

#4. In the hearts of those who have led the children out of the Church, TEC, are the belief that "half a loaf is better than none." Many of these "Pied Pipers" believe that if they fight using the Church's own assets for funds to carry on the fight, they are really losing nothing at all, even if they lose everything. And, if a settlement is achieved, anything that the Church let's them have in settlement, that is more than they had if they had walked out with nothing at all but the shirt on their back, in the first place.

So, any eventual settlement, achieved in court or by arbitration, is a win-win situation for the absconders.

#5. Those who left, attempting to take Church assets in the process, did not figure on the resolve of the members who have stayed faithful to TEC. TEC is obligated to continue in stewardship by helping the absconding mutineers to spend their ill-gotten bag of silver. Whatever we recover is to the credit of the continuing efforts of the Church.

If there is no one left to run the recovered real estate, let it be sold. But, do not let it be sold to those who tried to steal it. Let them buy it from the party we sell it to, and thereby keep it an arm's-length transaction.

In the meantime, God Bless the Lawyers.

#6. You write, "... faithful to the Bible."

You have made the Bible into a graven image and you are worshipping it.

Well you take G-d's Church and turn it over to a bunch of heathens and you are OK with that? Your grand plan is to destroy the Church anyway.
You of all the perverts on here should heed the ages long tradition of muslums killing the gays and lesbians as a way to control that perverted segment of the population.
Watch your head--hehehehehe

TEC, a supposedly Xtian org, is "selling-out," not selling, to islamists.

If muslims are no different from Xtians, why even bother evangelizing?

Of course, that would explain why TEC no longer preaches the gospel.

We now know that so-called gay-friendly TEC would rather sell church property to gay-killing muslims than peaceful orthodox Christians, and that you concur.

Now wait just a minute.

If that is the impression I gave, then I was wrong to do so.

First of all, gay-killing Muslims are really no different from gay-ostracizing Fundamentalist Christians who abandon or disown their gay children. And yes, this includes some former Episcopalians who are Biblical Fundamentalists. You don't have to shoot someone in the head to get your point across. You can simply abandon and shun them and leave them to commit suicide.

You laugh. But, this happens. When it does, it is, for all practical purposes, a very violent, criminal act. It is enough that a young person knows that he or she cannot openly admit their homosexuality without turning virtually everyone they love and care for and who have cared for them all of their lives suddenly and finally and totally against them.

Peaceful orthodox Christians?

No. That is not who and what these people are.

What I wrote is that TEC must not sell their properties to those who have taken the route of attempting to take the properties out of TEC by force. That is something that I do not believe we should do. I maintain that this is for their own good.

The properties and assets taken away from TEC by force by claiming an unbroken line of title and stewardship emanating by and from the Church, while simultaneously claiming independence and dissociation from that Church is, in my opinion, an outright attempt at justifying a theft.

Also, to be fair, and this is a fact, there are significant sects, mostly Sufi, among Muslims and Islam, who are not violent or life-threatening to gays or anybody else. Fact. Their sects existed long before Mohammad ever appeared on the scene and still exist today. The Baha'is are a modern example of the same or a similar type of believers.

I wrote that Church properties, if they are to be sold, should be deeded and sold at whatever price TEC desires to get and for whatever reason. If they are placed on the open market and offered through a lawful broker, the laws of real estate sales involving legitimate offers prevail. But, in a private sale, the owner can sell at any price to which both parties agree.

That buyer can then turn around and sell to anyone, unless in the previous purchase the buyer covenants to only resell the property abiding with specific lawful caveats. Anti-discrimination laws still apply. But, I have not seen any such covenant or stipulation that prevents a buyer of an Episcopal Church from turning around and selling to any formerly-Episcopalian Church group.

Please do not misrepresent what I have written about this, Joe.

Rev. Ken

Plus, Joe,

Whatever is causing you to write that TEC no longer preaches the Gospel?

That is simply not true.
