That whole celibacy thing is really working. The priesthood has no room for women priests or married priests -- but plenty of room for homosexuals and pedophiles. Nice to see the arrest of Hill-Murray's principal really put an end to this behavior (or did it just tell a bunch of weirdos where to go)? Let me guess, a few weeks ago, this guy was telling everyone in the parish that they would soon be getting a DVD telling them that it is sinful to be a practicing homosexual? If you want the Chuch to change, quit giving it money.

Everybody likes to attack the whole Catholic Church for the acts of some, OR just because of their own dislike! When are other institutions with even greater percentages of "homosexuals and pedophiles" going to be held to an equally high standard? What about public school staff around the country? How about protestant church pastors and youth pastors?

As another day passes another closet case homophobic bigot cowers while his glass house shatters around him.
When will the right learn???
It's men like this why gays are still oppressed.
Sad really.
Our biggest enemies are from within, they always were.
My advice to the priest???
You're gay, you were born that way.
God made you that way, accept it.
Your cover has been blown (no pun intended).
There is a whole world of people out there waiting for you with open arms.
The only thing left for you now, is a church that will condemn you.
The choice is yours, choose wisely.

In other religions, the pastors just have affairs and screw parishioner's wives. Certainly more acceptable, NOT.
Why didn't the article mention the religious affiliation of the others arrested?

I live across the street from Crosby Park. I was glad when they caught the Lutheran married pastor in one of their "stings" down there and at least put it in the paper.

People wonder why society is going to hell in a handbasket, as I sit here perusing this topic, there is an ad for breast implants, and below that, how to get myself a cash advance "payday loan." I think our propensity for instant gratification and living lies has something to do with the downfall. LOL!

The former principal at Hill Murray is married with children.

The DVD did not state it was sinful to be a homosexual. It stated marriage should be between a man and a woman.

And, no, I won't stop giving the Catholic Church money and neither will millions of others.

History hides a lot but sometimes a few facts come out such as ;

# Pope Innocent VIII (1484–1492) had at least two illegitimate children, born before he entered the clergy.[11] According to the 1911 Encyclopædia Britannica, he "openly practised nepotism in favour of his children".[12] Girolamo Savonarola chastised him for his worldly ambitions.[13] The title Padre della patria (= Father of the Fatherland) was suggested for him, precisely with suggestions that he may have fathered as many as 16 illegitimate children.[14]
When the rules change so does history and what people think took place. Time to make the big change now. Have these men marry a woman or a man, who cares ?

If as you say it's not sinful then why did the archbishop refuse to give communion to those who wore rainbow pins?? He didn't even know if they were gay or not, but decided for god that he can make these decisions based on his own belief system. I also believe that catholics have quoted passages from the bible that they have interpted as saying god is against homosexuality. Everytime this archbishop opens his mouth he sticks his hypocritical foot in it and has for years.......
