Super fantastic! We do not want gay marriage anywhere in the United States. God created man and woman so that man would marry woman, not man and man.

We have fought off and on for the dignity of our families for centuries if not thousands of years. We are with our back to the wall, thus we simply cannot give up. We have been persecuted, murdered, mutilated, castrated and abused in "medical" experiments in the process .... to no avail.

We will not give up because we cannot give up without giving ourselves and our families up. Just get used to it. If you attack us, we won't budge.

Any true Chrstian will know that attacking and undermining our families is deeply immoral.

Let's keep on keeping on. If not in our life time then perhpas our children's generation will succeed in having equal rights.

Do you have any clue the amount of tax dollars put into the system earned by gay individuals? How about gay owned/operated businesses? About 7%. We have to legally pay taxes, but cannot have any benefits that hetero tax payers have? How good do you think health care, schools etc. would be if nearly 7% of the tax dollars were eliminated?
How about a separation of church and state. Isn't that why people left Europe and founded our country?
Marriage is a hetero term, i am not interested in getting married.....its merely a piece of paper, but a union recognized on paper so that we can have the benefits that all people get that pay taxes in this country have would be great!
It's 2008 people, for crying out loud.....let's pay attention to real important issues, and leave our personal lives out of the equation

"so that we can have the benefits that all people get that pay taxes in this country have..."

What kind of tax-payer benefits are you talking about?

Those over 1000 benefits automatically give to those with a civil marriage license, are what is being discussed.

They were in another thread , but in a nutshell: laws of inheritance, medical decisions, tax laws, child custody, and about 1000 more. I guess you'll have to google it.

geez, you would think that with all this hulabuloo about same sex marriage in these forums that there would have been more than 200 homosexuals at that rally. I know that there are more than 200 hundred in the city alone much less the county. I guess it wasn't that important now was it? it looks to me like you're only agenda is to flaunt your homosexuality around and press it on the rest of us normal people.

Us "normal" lesbians are often too busy with our jobs, kids, etc. to join that sort of rally. Blessings on those who represented us there!!
