My passport is in good condition. People should take care of their things. I would be embarrassed to show a passport like his.

This is a personal original document that says a lot about you, it get you into and out of countries. Makes me wonder if he takes good care of his other documents. But don't let that stop him, he's gonna take that vacation no matter what, just switch airlines and countries and he's good to go. There is no personal responsibility anymore. Hope he takes better care of his new passport, but I doubt it.
