I can understand the police not "wading in with nightsticks flailing", but a few minutes with a water-cannon should do the trick. Give 1 hr notice and then DO IT instead of TALKING about it.
The talking was over when the matter left the court room.
There is NO credibility to what the law tells the police to do, when they plainly don't DO IT.

..... The constitution , which must be obeyed,v mentions Aboriginals. In Canada peaceful and legal protests are permitted. Compare with what Labour Unions are permitted to do.
..... If a Chief wants to eat, let her eat, if not, let her die.
