Gwar:
1) Mayor Fiacco and his family did not sell any land property to the City of Regina. That area has not yet been pursued. If the City Council votes on developing that land, Mayor Fiacco is prohibited from participating in the vote. He is very aware that it is a conflict of interest.
2) The City of Regina released the city budget in April, and stated that there would be NO property tax in increase for the year.
3) Mayor Fiacco was raised in north central Regina and he very active at the North Central Family Centre. He is very aware of what the neighborhood is like.
4) These trips that he goes on are enhancing relationships with other municipalities for the benefit of the citizens of Regina. In addition, the purpose is to implement strategies from other municipalities to improve Regina.
You should do some research before you upload another post. You're a fool!

Your attention to this matter is necessary...
The Imperial Oil Refinery operated in Regina from 1916 to 1975, directly over the Condie (70" below) and the Regina (120' below) aquifers.
In 1979 the City of Regina purchased the triangular area (112 acres) in order to expand Ross Industrial Park.
Later in 1979 the City sold approximate 1/2 the area to Dairy Producers Cooperative, who started in 1980 to construct a creamery in the middle of the former oil refinery property, rezoned and serviced by the City.
It is important to understand that nothing has been remediated on this particular site to this very day.
In 1986 the City of Regina commences construction of a City Bus Transit Facility just north of the dairy project, but squarely within the central area where the oil refinery once operated. At this time the City commissions soils test and aquifer water tests by Ground Engineering and Beckie Engineering. Both engineering companies prepared reports. The reports found that there was 7-10 meters of highly saturated hydrocarbon soil, and warned of potential entrapped gas explosions, and the danger of fume annihilation. The reports further identified high concentrations of phenol and predicted phenol plumes migrating on the gradient at a possible 64 meters per year. The report also tested the Condie aquifer, found that it was significantly contaminated and attributed the former refinery as the primary source of the contamination. The tests on the deeper Regina aquifer showed no contamination at that time, in 1986, however the reports pointed out the there were a number of locations were the two aquifers are only 3 meters apart, therefore it was suggested that the lower aquifer would experience contamination in due course. The engineer reports further pointed out that the two aquifers discharged into the Wascana and Boggy creek system, which is primarily why I have contacted you.

Clint Kimery is a self-proclaimed knows it all. His only concern is his financial gain period (he is trying to save himself some property taxes). If he was so concerned why did he locate his business there. He has no problem spraying all types of chemicals in his filthy house. The indoor environment is more polluted than any outdoor environment in Regina.

Fiacco thought Brad Wall was the best thing since sliced bread. Now because he's not getting the 'bling' he EXPECTED his tune has changed. He admits he's ticked and says he doesnt' want to go after the taxpayer's for this money. Maybe, just maybe Pat, you shouldn't have spent the money before it was in the bank. You're on a spending spree without a credit card. I can't believe how people can't see through your studering stories. Seems to me the only person you're concerned about is you and keeping up your image which I believe is being tarnished on a daily basis. You make it sound like you've paid for the changes in this city out of your own pocket......excuse me!!! When are you going to get into politics so you can do us over some more...when you finish your term?

Kimbo or should I say Clint Kimery you do not have a clue. How do you know if Clint is getting over taxed? Clint is an prick with only one concern and that is money, and that is easy to see if you have half a brain.

I would recommend that you do not do work for Clint because I have a friend who did work for him and did not get paid for what he did.

Long story short Clint is simply an immoral, money hungry prick.

Not paying for services that you have used is not standing up for yourself it is stealing and stealing is not making a positive change.

When you force development changes to a city and those changes bring about the ability to sell family land at a tidy profit; this only stinks of corruption. What is now Harbour Landing would have never been developed when the city was focused on east first and north second for development. Mayor Fiasco stopped development and had to have made a deal to get them to change focus at a cost of millions to west first and east second. Note developers seem to be able to get councils vote for anything they want. Note condo developments, not enough rental apartments, rental rates, housing costs that are now higher than Calgary. etc.
