Anti-gay group fails to disrupt funeral

Aug 12, 2008 | Posted by: StevenFL | Full story: www.365gay.com

Despite claims they had thwarted a government ban and had entered Canada, members of an anti-gay group that purports to be a church failed to show up for their threatened protest at the funeral of a man who was stabbed to death and beheaded aboard a Greyhound bus.

We should be free to offend; that is how new ideas come into the world.

Well that's an interesting perspective. With those kind of "new ideas" I think I'll stick with the old ones. You sound like a real prize -- not.

Fancy attitude for someone whose name is an anagram of "vulgar."

BTW--I rarely drink at all, and NEVER beer. Foul brew unfit for humans.

I believe that was post #7. That is the posting the Cpetr was quoting him at, which appears in his posting.

Of course, it is strange with a lot of this stuff happening 3 months ago in August.

I tend to like foreign beers. There is more substance to them. American beers are very nasty.

Really, what makes a beer "nasty." Does it taste awful or does it have some vile chemical like melamine in it?

Watered down, no substance, no taste. Foreign beers have more substance and better taste. American beers just suck in this regard.

I have had a few Canadien brews too that easily outrank their American cousins.

Which Canadian beers do you recommend? What about European or S. American beers?

I really do not know the names of some of the Canadien beers, just know what the bottle looks like. One of them has the Canadien maple leaf on the front of the bottle and some weird word like Royal something or other.

For me, I like Killian's Irish Red, Guinness, Harp, Boddingtons, Kirin Japanese Beer, El Modelo, Fosters, Superior Russian Ale.

The only American brew I can half way tolerate would probably be San Francisco's Anchor Steam.

At least they properly described the group.

Quoting someone's nastiness is not an offensive posting. The poster responded to a post and it was left in the context of his post. It can not be removed. The original post, however, was removed. If I missing this, then please point it out, but otherwise, the response from Cptr is not offensive.
