Cleveland and Canadian neighbor discuss ferry idea
Lake Erie passenger ferries would carry tourists and a limited number of trucks between Cleveland and Port Stanley, Ontario, possibly as early as next year, under a plan being discussed by port officials on the two sides of the U.S.-Canada border.

I hope they pay attention to Rochester, NY's mistakes and plan better. Get a reliable boat, secure all necessary permits, get marketing and cooperation on both sides of the border and use as little public money as possible. Start small and expand the fleet as it becomes popular and profitable. Get some commercial traffic streamlined after the tourist boat gets going.
