Its terrible that this still goes on in our schools and workplaces. Read about poor Brodie Panlock, she was a Waitress at a cafe in Melbourne Australia. She was bullied to death. The poor girl went thru hell with the bullying that went on at her workplace, and caused her to commit suicide. Those responsible were convicted by Worksafe melbourne Victoria and fined $115,000, the business was fined $220,000. These situations are hard to prove without evidence. Have also read about Bunnings Bullying at work where the victim informed the store manager about the behaviour of the timber manager. The store manager then got the rest of the management team involved and conspired to set the victim up but the victim recorded the managers involved. The dishonesty was recorded by all involved!

I read about poor Brodie Panlock this case was a shocking outcome! This shows what happens when this type of behaviour goes on in the workplace and continues to go on unchecked and the manager let it happen!

Bullying and other destructive behaviour by some of today's youths (and later, adults) is a natural outcome of our legally enforced spare-the-rod, spoil-the-child culture.

Of course, disproportionate physical punishment can create bullies and psychos as well. But the pendulum has swung way too far in the opposite direction.
