Great memories of Leamington/Pelee Is.- going back decades- to the sixties when my grandparents helped my parents rent a cottage on the lake, not far from the Historical Park, for at least a few years during my growing up. Thanks for this walk down memory lane. What a great place. Mostly due to the locals (and kudos as well to the Canadien govt) maintaining the sense of balance- of nature vs. man. I can only hope it stays just that way. Quietly noble. Shhhhhhh...! Excellent article.
