Algonquins preparing to launch biggest land claim in Canada's history

Why not add up all the $7.7 billion dollar annual payments to Indian affairs that have been used up from general revenue to support our First Nations and deduct from that sum whatever the fair cost of the land at the time of appropriation.
Call it square and let the first nations learn to support themselves, like all the rest of us have to do.
As things stand I feel like an indentured slave who will live out his life supporting the First Nations like an Emerald Beetle larva lives off of it's paralyzed host, the dimwitted hornet .
