Divert or maybe burn?

“It was clear to us Energy from Waste facilities are widely accepted in Europe. There are over 400 plants treating 52 million tonnes of waste per year,” Pollock said in a Sept. 6 report to General Committee.
In contrast, there are only four such plants in Canada, including Algonquin Power in Brampton, which burns 174,600 tonnes of solid waste annually.
