I hope that my tax dollars are not going to rescue other people's goods - that is what insurance is for. It is one thing to rescue people and even pets (people pay taxes and Lord knows that the state is all business and has no compassion) but I doubt if any art produced in Canada is real art but is more like some taxpayer's stiped painting costing 1.8 million dollars. Canada has no real culture.
