Stimulus overwhelmingly benefits opposition ridings: Tories

Michael Ignatieff just got my vote. Actually, he had it before.....
But he has announced that he would be in favour of a high-speed rail link for Quebec City ahead of a hockey rink for that city.
He just got my vote again.
If the Liberals go down, it'll be over hockey!
Why should Liberals and progressives who feel somewhat supportive of Liberals feel bad about themselves if they lose to a hockey-loving CPC leader (professed hockey-loving guy)?
Some things are worth fighting for, and worth losing if it has to come to that.
Well, speaking soberly, I would say it is better to live to fight another day, but if we must go down, over hockey vs. economic development, let it be so.
Also, from CBC, lots of that 50 million infrastructure for the G-8 meeting is going to bandshells, gardens and road improvement.
Strike up the band, the G-8 is coming to town.
Last night, I dreamt I was on a road from Regina to Saskatoon and there were all these billboards about G-8 and it gradually dawned on me that S'toon was hosting a G-8 summit, in my dream.
Go for it, Saskatoon, you've got the boosterism and spirit to get that summit some day, leaving out my exact definition of 'boosterism' in this case.
