Losing two shifts at Oshawa is not good news for the truck facility. The low value of the dollar makes it cheaper to assemble vehicles in the United States and the UAW two tier wage scale is making hiring new hires more profitable for GM than ever before. Tough negotiations are ahead for the CAW, good luck. Each corporation will want to customize their contract.
