There's so much to love about Toronto: the Tim Hortons doughnut shops on every corner, the tidy walking paths linking the neighborhoods, the parks, the ketchup-flavored potato chips.

Actually, Amtrak's Maple Leaf runs all the way through between NY and Toronto. It's just booked as separate segments for accounting purposes since VIA Rail (Canada's Amtrak) operates the train north of the border. But it's still a one-seat ride.

Yup, and not even a mention of the CN tower (largest free standing edifice in the world I thought, and the Sky Dome right next to it, abeautiful stadium with a retractable roof. You can time a major league game between the Yankees and the Toronto Blue Jays during your visit.
Tell you what -- Eddie and I will go to the strip clubs and the sports stuff, and Eddie's wife and mine can go look for the "bargains" on Gucci and Prada.

And it is embarassing that the hockey hall of fame and the CN Tower were left off that list for the University of Toronto..are Canadians coming to NYC to look at NYU and not the empire state building?
