That seems to be standard practice for magna shops to call your home and give you the bad news.Lay offs and buy outs at Karmax Heavy Stamping are taking place now.It's going to be a rough ride.

Magna Eagle Bend located in Tennessee layed off 100+ employees on January 09, 2009. I was one of those unlucky few, but at this time they are still calling it a temporary lay off. I went from 72 hrs a week in June down to 40 hrs a week by the first week July. Now I am at home full time. I wonder if I will be called back at all. They have called several ppl back but still here I am at home and honestly I want my job back.

You might as well find you another job. Sales are bad anyways but the management doesn't have a clue.
