A truck stolen from a garage in Bridlewood in SW Calgary at approx 8:00am on Sunday July 7th was found the morning of Monday July 8th in a parking lot of an Oktotoks rec centre. This truck was a white 2011 Toyota Tundra. It is believed that this stolen truck may be been used in and around the town of Oktotks in the time frame of approx 10.30am Sunday July 7th until not long before it was found on Monday morning, July 8th.
This truck has a distinct plate on the front bumber consisiting of a red cross with a red hand in the middle of the cross.
It is also believed that it may have run out of gas before hitting Okotoks when stolen from Calgary and needed fuel. The assailant was given a gerry can of gas by a passer by at some point but may have fueled up somewhere between Calgary and Oktotks or in Okotoks. The driver of this stolen vehicle was also believed to have been hitchhiking along the highway at some point after leaving the truck on the side of the road but was returned to the vehicle again.
The assailant is male and may also have a or be trying to get rid of blackberry z10 and a samsung android phone among other things stolen from inside the truck.
