What do you look for when hiring contractors?

I hired a group of painters a few years ago and what I really liked was their customer service.
They were very polite, they had good communication, and they let me know of any changes in their schedule.

So my advice, be very open with your customers.

Just exterior painting? Horrible business model. Good luck. You're gonna need it bud.

I had to shut my painting business down and lay off 6 employees because of the punishing WSIB premiums. Thanks a lot Dalton McGuinty. The Liberal government has declared war on small business.

Nah, I tend to stay away from crappy chain restaurants like that. Much better food and value at the local owned places.
