If you worked until you were 70-75 years old do you think you might deserve a place to live. Don't tell me a retirement home because I know that you would not want to go into one when you retire. So a priest gets a house and has a place to go on his day off or when he has free time. Did you live at the place where you worked. Would you like to have staff in your home all day and a phone ringing day and night, I don't think so. Grow up.

Is there any public record of how many parents voted to close which school? If the reasons to close these schools were obvious to the diocese, why werenít obvious to the parents? Lack of communication or lack of evidence?
Ask the parents to vote? Who would vote to close their own school? Obvious to the parents? They don't pay the bills or probably don't even know how much it cost to run the school. There are other ministries that parishes must have and they need the funds to have them. How much is spent on the elderly, on adult education, religious education for public school children? Let's be fair to all parishioners. There are many great schools and your children have been invited to be part of them. Go make the new school a good place for your child.

More than food pantries, the Church needs to offer the poor a good education. Many religious orders were founded for this.
Somehow, down the line, the Church has lost this priority fostering a society of haves and have nots. Francesco is now shaking up the Churchís priorities.
What three or four people you work with would you like to move into your home and live with you. Could they bring in there brothers and sister or their parents in for a visit? What if you all had company all at once.

Now the "Boy Toy" is bragging in the "Community" about their next planned out of town sexcapades at Fr. Daves Florida "Hut"...How long is this going to be allowed to continue. Some of the eliminators from Corpus Christi were at the benefit for St. Ann's yesterday. I was shocked to see them there, and please, Oh please,
St. Ann's beware. Everyone can see the damage they have done at Corpus Christi.

The destructors kept Corpus Christi open for more than 10 years, raising hundreds of thousands of dollars for its maintenance and repairs. Why should they now be interested in St. Annís? Some people are doing very, very strange things in Buffalo. Even the Vatican knows that.

Are we to assume that most parents are inconsiderate, selfish and stupid?
One more reason to have a head count! Typical clerical arrogance.

Artificial contraception is also a violation of church teaching and 99% of married couples choose not to follow it. Pre-marital sex is a violation of church teaching and 99% of Catholics choose not to follow it.
It doesn't sound like anyone cares. Maybe Francis can change things around so that "church teaching" reflects common practice since most Catholics are failures when it comes to living up to church teaching.

priests are by definition management and thus make promises at ordination to enforce church teachings much like executives of a company enforce policy and procedure. If he's taking it up the Hershey highway he is to be held accountable
