Which schools will close today? What about the 'cinderella parishes', would any of those close today?
Which schools teach anything Catholic?

That's the truth! Cardinals are monogamous - they have the same partner for life.
Therefore, you probably wouldn't find any in Buffalo.
are they all monogamous? what about their 'loverboys?' are they hiding them behind the 'red skirt?'

Can the poster who said LiPuma's parish school, St. Peter's in Lewiston only had 98 students confirm that? If that is true, why did it stay open when it was stated at the diocesan press conference that schools with under 120 students did not afford them a quality educational experience and that's why they were closing.
According to The Buffalo News, LiPuma has only 98 students. Is that a viable schools?

Why are YOU worried about who supports them. It will be done by those who want to.
I would much rather support a totally empty building than some lazy, selfish, self serving priest's personal beach , mountain, city or suburban residences when there are empty rectories available all over the diocese. Get rid of everything, and everybody, the priests first and we can start over and be much happier. Nobody in the present field will be missed. You can be sure of it. Service???? Are you kidding or dreaming?
'divine ministers' are 'serving''divine cinderellas' with their expertise in 'divine leadership' in semiempty church buildings.

The Bishop did the right thing of closing 10 schools. He should also close some churches which are not viable any more since the attendance is extremely poor, and financially those parishes are not feasible any more.

Will present Pope defrock all monsignors made by the previous popes? Number of them do not deserve that title at all.

The Holy Father already demoted some and sidelined some in the Vatican itself?

All 'divine cinderellas' will have to wait the age of 65 to become potential monsignors. Good for them!

The Diocese should combine St peter in Lewiston and St Theresa in Deveaux. Too close together.

St.John della Salle should merge with Prince of Peace. St. Stannislaus should merge with St. Joseph. Mount Carmel should close down and go to St. Joseph.St. Mary's should become an oratory.

St. Peter in Lewiston is waiting for 'big money' from Youngstown when Msgr. Moran retires.

Let all priests sell their 'lovenests' by the lakes and give to the poor as suggested by Pope Francis.

Bishop Malone is realistic, and knows well how to manage the problem situations pertaining to the schools across the Diocese. Next will be: closing financially unviable semiempty churches across the Diocese. That will give him some extra priests to put them in places which are in greater need than those where they are know.
