Would you then oppose Kennedy and Pridgen if they wanted to fix the sidewalks on the East Side?

If that's the only argument you can make for destroying a church and a parish you are pretty sick. Go visit some teens in jail or better yet become a foster or adoptive parent. How many poor children have you sponsored for a free Catholic education? And why don't you read the paper and see which catholic organizations are making the BIG deals with politicians. There are plenty of catholic organizations receiving government money. You will be surprised at how many Catholics work for politicians and the media including the Buffalo News. We are all a little hypocritical aren't we?

He said, she said.
He maintains that 'they' had a sexual encounter that resulted in a pregnancy that she had aborted.
She maintains that she only EVER saw the man twice in her life and both times there were two other women present and both times were for less than ten minutes each. Despite the fact that she was 58 years old when the alleged sexual encounter took place, despite the fact that her health insurance claims that there was no abortion, he still claims that this happened.
She claims that he was paid to say this happened to discredit her and he won't change his story in order to avoid jail.
She has decided to change her charge against him to rape.

You will find some of that element in every church and every segment of society. That's why you the church is there to teach about Christ not to be a social club. Malicious gossip is a sign of a disturbed person. I would rather get rid of useless and purposeless people than beautiful buildings. Isn't is much easier to make people than to make buildings? Aren't you glad I am not God?
There is a large volume of evil people, gossipers, and eliminators at CC.
Not a good place!

How large a volume could it be? Supposedly there aren't that many people left. So who is doing all the work? Sounds to me like if they haven't eliminated you yet they should.

CC is a cesspool of liars, thieves, sex offenders and selfish, self serving people. It does nothing for the community, and has become nothing more than an empty waste of a shell that serves to fill feelings of nostalgia for the people who abandoned their neighborhood come back for Easter and Christmas. Everyone who gives money to that church is throwing their money away; that church, aside from being a truly beautiful building, is useless and purposeless.
This place is beyond help. Close it ASAP!!!!!!!!!!

And just who should close it smarty pants? And what do you mean by closing. That's how dumb you have all become and don't even know it. Why don't you do your homework before shooting your mouth off. So far on this blog very few have advocated demolishing or closing any church except for peope who have a personal grudge. What is your grudge? The pastors are not kissing your dupa? Go recite a Rosary.

You can wander off like any lost sheep all by yourself.
You may make lots of people very happy. Remember that the faith is important not numbers. It's not a popularity contest as some pastors would like you to think. What I would do is join the community. They would either love me or hate me but I make the choice!! They have to welcome you remember? Make yourself welcome!! In every church Christ does the welcoming not a committe of the ushers.

Someone is slipping. The November edition of the diocesan newspaper is not on line yet. If it appears, we can be a union in echo, singing "Magnificat" I wonder what Msgr. O' Connor would think about this. He did produce a good paper.

I like how you think. Being destructive is the only thing this diocese is enthusiastic about.

Medjugorje visionary Ivan Dragicevic’s scheduled public apparations in late October were cancelled upon instructions from the head of the Vatican Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith. Appariti0ns should not be taken for granted.

What do you know about anything?

Say 'porno' very slowly in front of a mirror.
Be sure to hold that last syllable.
Now, view the shape of your lips.

Practice bobbing your head up and down.
You've found your calling.
Slurp, slurp. Enjoy

“In ideologies there is not Jesus: in his tenderness, his love, his meekness. And ideologies are rigid, always. Of every sign: rigid. And when a Christian becomes a disciple of the ideology, he has lost the faith: he is no longer a disciple of Jesus, he is a disciple of this attitude of thought… For this reason Jesus said to them:‘You have taken away the key of knowledge.’ The knowledge of Jesus is transformed into an ideological and also moralistic knowledge, because these close the door with many requirements. The faith becomes ideology and ideology frightens, ideology chases away the people, distances, distances the people and distances of the Church of the people. But it is a serious illness, this of ideological Christians. It is an illness, but it is not new, eh?”
