You are probably right. Makes sense. When will this all take place? My guess is 2014. When all the churches closed in NF in 2008, all the priests were assigned/ reassigned with 6 year contracts. These contracts all expire next year. Should prove to be interesting.

Probably Gualbert's. Mike is turning a lot of people off in that parish and everything is in decline under his leadership. A number of families have either left the parish or simply don't go there anymore.

I just heard that Justine has now left the parish. Who would have ever thought she would ever leave her precious church? Oh boy, times are a changin'these days.

And why would St Teresas stay open?

Geographycally, the only parish in the North of that city. Plus, it is still a wel-to-do area in NF, and very residential. Prince of Peace is in the East, and should remain open. And St. Joseph's in the South should remain open with St. Mary's as the oratory by the Casino.

Considering the fact that it'l take about 8 years to educate a priest
(if vocations enter the seminary now), how many priests "in working conditions" will the DOB have in 2020?

I bet she got upset over the Mass money from Mothers Day being pocketed by that imbecile PhD. Why doesn't the DOB audit him and report him to the DA for embezzlement?

I really do not think Priests steal money from the Churches they are assigned to.
I think they only allocate it where they see fit.

They also had a good Sicilian lawyer who made the parish (=diocese)
respect the purpose of earmarked donations or return the money to the donors. Money always talk. The more money, the louder the voice.

What about St. Leo's, St. John's, Divine Mercy and Mt. Carmel?

Doesn't the mass money go to the priests anyway? Hopefully in conscience, he will say the masses even privately.

They should close down as soon as possible! And you will have extra priests available for bigger parishes in the DOB.
