I would agree that Anvil Centre is a name that does not fit with the model of the future that New Westminster wants to approach. The fact that it takes the graphic to distract one into warming to the idea speaks again to the problematic name. A web search of Anvil Centre comes back with results of mental health centre and correctional institute. Something New Westminster already has its fair share. The direction that Mr Coté sees of ideas, culture, and creativity is not installed in the chosen name. Agreed that The Exchange has its own problems, but a name that you need to spend time to get used to is probably not the best marketing or community identity plan.
