Domestic violence is done by much more than a long gun. Police should assume if they go to a domestic call that there may be weapons present. It's not the law abiding gun owners that goes around commiting crimes. What's the difference if someone on a farm has a .22 rifle or a 30/30 rifle or any sort of shotgun? Hell for that difference what if someone in town has a gun? NOTHING......

Police like it so they can come and find some excuse to remove your firearms. Only person a registry screws is the law abiding one. Makes it easier for them to confiscate your guns too.
