Thane Rodney Dunn, 40, an Elvis impersonator from Moncton, was stopped by RCMP officers on Oct. 25, 2008, in Bedell after he was suspected to have been drinking and driving.

After blowing two breathalyzer tests and getting readings of 170 and 150, double the legal limit, he was charged with having a blood alcohol level exceeding the minimum amount and operating a motor vehicle while impaired.

He pled guilty in Woodstock court on Tuesday.

Dunn was imposed the standard $1,000 fine with a victim surcharge fine of $150 and was prohibited from driving for one year.

Listen here anonymous. Thane Dunn is 40yrs old. The "crap" you're talking about is kids stuff. He was a teenager then...For you to say and feel such malicous hate towards someone because of who you thought he was 25yrs ago is pretty messed up. Who cares who he was when he was a teenager,if today, as a man, he is a decent man. And He is a very decent man today. Judging him??..with you, no doubt having done the very same thing,(just not having ever been caught)
time and time again, you judge him.you crusify him for who he was as a teenager..YOU ARE PATHETIC.

I wish that there were a golden rule in life, that only those without sin or regret themselves were able to cast judgement.

Whether you are a Doctor or a Lawyer or a Priest or an Elvis Impersonator, we are all human.

Don't people just love to kick others when they are down, rather than reach out a hand to help them back up.

Let us learn from others mistakes and promise to never repeat them ourselves. Let us find strength in kindness and never judge. Be happy and be kind!
Remember, this is a job for Thane Dunn.. it is a way that he makes a living.

I was always picked on by other kids on the school bus when I went to Harrison Trimble High School. They used to sit in the back and yell at me and call me a faggot and tons of filthy names. Thane sat directly behind me and NEVER called me a name and encouraged me to stand up for myself. When it got too much for only one person too handle he turned around one day and told them to shut their %*&#-ing mouths and their mouths definitely shut fast. The following day they brought one of their bigger loud mouth friends and tried to start it up again by asking Thane where his boyfriend was. Thane got up and punched him once directly squarely on the mouth HARD. The noise was so loud that EVERYONE shut up once and for all. I felt safe on the bus after that. Thane never acknowledged me as a friend but when he saw something was not right he wasn't having it.

Thane Dunn is a good person. Leave him alone jealous people.
