When the story broke, neighbors knew about it, unless the girl was home schooled, her friends and classmates knew about it and I'm sure the press took photos when the couple (and the girl?) walked in and out of the courthouse. So I'm sure their real names are known among the community as well as photos were probably taken and placed on numerous chat sites. Facebook, myspace? People talk, and love to gossip... its human nature. Can the crown legally suppress the locals from saying their names and taking photos and posting them? How does the crown court work with circumstances like this? These bans are put in place every day accros Canada. It's one of our worst Laws. Greater Moncton,( Moncton, Dieppe and Riverview have a combined population of 100,000 plus. You'd think some one would leak their names and pictures. If that info is put on a Canadian Site, it can be yanked off by the Law. I'm still not certain if Topix.net is excempt from this. I had over 2 years worth of Posts deleted from one Site because I focused on Sex Offenders and Child Molesters. The Site got a Cease and Desist order from the Courts. Seems I violated a Sex Offenders rights. Thats why I now post them here.So far so good.

QUOTE (deleted) I was a member of your Moncton MSN site. So that's what happened. Well you have my email address because I received a welcome message from you once. If you feel here is not the place to post sensative info, you can always email it me? If you can't find it, If I still have your reply I could jet a test off to you.

I believe the news reported the case will be sometime in September? We are already into the second week. Anyone seen anything about the case?
Thanks.

MONCTON, N.B.- A New Brunswick couple will be sentenced in September after pleading guilty to the creation, possession and distribution of child pornography.
The trial was set to begin Monday, but lawyers for the man and woman from Moncton said they were changing their plea to guilty on all five charges they were facing.
A court order prevents the publication of any information - including the names of the man and woman - that would identify the teenage victim in the case.
The man and woman were arrested after the FBI determined that a picture seized in a child porn case in the United States was made in Moncton.
Sentencing is set for Sept. 26.
I have a question? This case involves a teenage girl who used the name (LittleMelissaModel) who at the time of the arrests was listed at age 14. The above mentioned article mentions that the photos taken of her are considered child porn. Are these photos available to the public for review? Which ones are considered child porn and how many? I know of a site where I asked that her photos not be posted because of this case, yet they laughed at me and continue to post the teenage girls photos stating that they are not child porn. Are any laws being broken here? US, Canadian, or otherwise?

I'm not sure of the legal age in the US, but in Canada posting such pictures is a Crime.
I would report the Site.

I was hoping to read/hear if the girl took the stand and what if anything she said about the whole ordeal. I still haven't seen anything on the net about it. Was it possibly delayed to another date?
Anyone?

Nothing in the Moncton paper or on the CBC will also covers certain stories.
The Moncton paper has pathetic court coverage.
Maybe some one on line will be able to enlighten us.

If I recall correctly, "Danielle Lancaster, CA" stated that you too were following this story. Have you recently read or found anything about this case? It seems to have "fallen off the face of the earth"
I'm almost temped to email the couple's lawyer to see if he could (within the rules of the law) comment on the outcome of this case. Canadian Crime, are records/affidavites made public on these types of cases like here in the US? I'm not clear on how the Crown operates.
