Stay away from Magic Nails and Spa

I just finished a rather lengthy Renovation at Magic Nails and Spa in Markham, Ontario on Hwy 7. The original estimate was for one and a half weeks, it went on to three and a half weeks due to add-ons and now she won't pay me one dollar! The reason that she does not want to pay is because it went over the time line and here's why.
The following was added in during the original work. Paint three rooms, carpet one room, make the washer and dryer stackable, vent the dryer to outside, build two Pedicure chairs, fix a leak in one of the original chairs, change some light bulbs, hang some mirrors, and the list goes on. I did all of this work for her by myself with no help from anyone and it took a little over three weeks to complete everything. The electrician that did the wiring had two verbal arguments with her trying to get paid (she paid him finally) and I guess it's now my turn.
She stated that I caused her a great deal of stress due to the extra time involved and the spa was filthy every morning. That's kind of funny because last week she made me dinner to take home to my family and she had a big smile on her face. That was around the three week mark.
As for filthy- at the end of every working evening, I vacuumed the carpets in the main area (which she wants me to replace anyways), I washed down the chairs, wiped down the counters, washed out the sinks, and took out all of the garbage. I took pictures almost every night, why would I not want it to look clean. I made sure that when they came in the next morning, they wouldn't have to worry about anything.
The expenses went over what it should have been from the original estimate, but every time she gave me 200.00 for materials, I gave her the receipts and explained what is was for. How honest and up front can I be?
I walked out of her place Monday night (March 16,2009) after I found out what she was all about and went back late at night to leave a letter for her. When I looked in, two other guys were doing some work. I talked to the neighbouring store the next morning and he stated that a couple of friends of his were asked on the 17th to come in and paint the rest of the spa? Unbelievable!

Hi, I did have the opposite experience with a contractor. He got me to pay him an amount for a job that also included installing 8 pieces of crawn moulding. The job should have been done in a week. Yet at the end of two weeks, 99% of the money paid, lunches and dinners on me, he did not honor the agreement and did not show his face any more. His name is Milton and lives in Brampton. I am a trusty person that never learn...
In the case of Magic Nails, the new jobs should have added in the contract and be signed.
