Circle K parent's profit drops more than expected

I went there and attempted to use my credit card for gas. They wanted my zip code which I gave and it was not what the credit card co had in their records, apparently. I left and went to another companies station. I went home and verified that my zip was the same as my statement, it was. I have not been back there since. That was months ago.

This report is a no brainer. People are not filling their tanks; we are only putting in what is necessary. Used to be an extra trip wouldn't hurt us; not anymore.

So...a la the newly "reformed" National City Bank's tv commercial, Circle K could allow their customers to use the in-house ATM machines to withdraw cash to pay for purchases without a transaction charge...screw the credit card companies, eh?

Surely our Canuk brethren have heard about a "cash discount", eh?
