Why aren't they in jail for child endangerment?

Oh this is cute. Yeah they didnt follow proper procedures. What the one that said to check all the beds for sleeping kids? Yeah the only rule they did do right was making sure they locked the door!! Must of been a good par-tay that night they wanted to get too.

WoW, I hate daycares,I love children, but usually hate the staff, hate how they're ran,and how the staff really is to children(Experience)I can't believe these two irresponsible, staff members, they got what was commin,Isn't that neglect on the staff part? And the mother went to pick up her kid at 6:00,but couldn't open the doors and all lights were off. She had to call police and firefighters to help her get to her baby. Thats really sad,I'd be flippin,if i was in this situation.

I think the Mom went to pick up her baby at the regular time 6:00 and the place was closed. I am guessing that they closed a little early, thinking the coast was clear.

If you read the post, the mom went there and found the doors locked and the lights out. She called the police and fire department and they got her baby out.
What did you mean by your post?

Let's not put all daycare and staff members in the same neglectful category .Where I live you would be arrested and have a record to follow you the rest of your life.I think it is awful what happened.

oh no,Im not,I was a staffer at a daycare. And I would go behind other staffers backs to fulfill the childrens day,Id take them for walks on a trail, and be more lenient.I swear the my coworkers, would sit on their a$$es directing kids,I'd listen to them and join in their games, like kickball,4 square, etc. The staff,I worked w/was horrible. They would entertain themselves by punishing kids, talking crap about kids families who did not have a lot of money. Not all my coworkers were like this, but the majority was.At least we triple checked our building, before locking up.And we would stay w/children whos'parents came late, and if their parents were over an hour late, with no phone call,we'd HAVE to contact police.

Thank God my kids are older!!!
Someone didn't follow protocol thats for sure. And yea that poor mother, I think I would have busted windows and went in myself. Imagine what thoughts went through her mind, I would have thought someone else took my kid home or something.

What happened to this child is inexcuseable. However, I work at a day care and I do care about the children who are there- I do my best when I'm at work using what i have. People don't go into day care if they don't care about children- they definetly don't do it for the money.

And this is why I stay home with my kids and I work from home... Yes me and my hubby had to give up ALOT of things but it is all worth it. Atleast I know that my boys are taken care of and I don't have to worry about someone not taking care of them or locking them up in the building and going home.

Michelle, it should have been 'My Hubby and I', not "me and my hubby".

"Atleast" shoudl have been 'at least'. Thanks for playing...

"This is why you stay home"?.......You don't do much parenting now do you lady?

You have posts all over here with the Fraud Squad gaggle. I went back in your posts, you're here every day, all the time. That’s only when your wasting your life away with the Braud Squad, I haven’t yet looked elsewhere.

You've made 955 comments, that would be a lifetime of posts for me. You absolutely have too much free time.

Evidently the only thing that you have sacrificed while at home, is quality time with your kids, for time with the squad.

I dislike daycare immensely, but not in your case. Daycare might at least might play catch with your kids, you clearly aren't.

Woohoo a party...You moron. What if there was a fire while the door was locked so you can "par-tay"? Your priorities astound me.
