What would happen if a Canadian went to India and tried to have them change their laws, traditions and or customs in order to satisfy my religious beliefs? Would their Government be as flexible as ours.

Situations such as what just happened are very sad and unwarranted however it is becoming increasingly more and more frustrating to have immigrants come to Canada and expect our laws and traditions to change in order to suit their needs. Why can't they adapt to our customs and laws...
