well why are the tax payers paying for the bylaw people to take care of those rubbies or are we paying for those nice bylaw trucks for them to just cruise around look pretty sure not doing their job. WAITING for someone to cross the tracks waste of time and playing cat and mouse with the rcmp HA

The loitering bylaw does no good if you don't have a place for them to go too. First you get a building with a couple of pool tables some tables and chairs to play cards or just sit and visit or have a coffee and relax, than you bring in a loitering bylaw and enforce it. As far as the RR crossings if there is no train in sight cross at your own risk, when the train is aproaching manouvering back and forth or parked than enforce the no crossing bylaw. But than again it would be so simple to just install a six foot high chain link fence, I'll sure that all the unneeded scurity costs could have paid for the fence.

There's plenty of places to go. No need to hang out in front of the liquor stores and banks. As for the chain link fence proteting the tracks, they need to hand out more tickets first to pay for it.

Actually, there are many places for them to go. For starters, treatment. Then, a job.

Boy, Aurel if this is the best you and your supporters can do, the people in Lac La Biche don't have to be worried that you may get elected.

Mr Millions ... the only thing all the "good" mayors have passed is BULLSHIT and HOT AIR with the exception of one or two.

Lac La Biche is at a crossroads. It is time for someone out there to do some deep soul searching and decide if they can dig LLB out of the mess this current Council has created by turning back time and causing the degeneration of the community.

Is it you? It has to be someone who was not elected with this gong show of characters; someone who is open minded but with a backbone of steel; someone who embraces all of the wonderful cultures and colours that make up our terrific community; and someone who is not afraid of a challenge because we all know they will have one.

The future of our children and their children depend on this leader. LLB has everything going for it but the cartoon leadership is seems to more often than not, elect.

Time to make a difference!

Danny is a hard workin man, maybe he will be the chosen one. Life is like a box of choclets, you never know what your going to get. Hopefully he can break the old ways of self serving mayors, or get barked at for being another dingbat. I would bet that Danny will help the regions growth not suppress it.

Hey Danny,

You have my vote! I hope the rumour is true. Hey Whatever ... the former Council did not leave a mess. What the hell are you talking about?

I'm curious what this Council's plan is when the dumps are full (read the recent articles about the limited lifespans they now have). The cost of TRUCKING our garbage out of town is certainly not environmentally smart and it will not be fiscally smart for taxpayers. The dumps have no liners and as they get more and more full, I'm sure everyone will enjoy the problems faced when we discover swimming in Beaver Lake might not be such a good thing, for example. Bring on an alternative but we all know that the reason waste to energy and all the other different methods work is because there is a population base and deep pockets to support them.

As for this current Council and their policies not to let anyone who ran for election sit on their boards and committees and their malicious vendettas against people and staff. For gods sakes, I wish I had the former Council and if I could make it so, I would make it so.

Thank you former Council for the new wastewater treatment facility, the Bold Center, the new library, the new high school, the new Lacalta Lodge, the renovated Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Centre, paratransit bussing, skating rinks in the rural areas, hall improvements, water and sewer, paved roads, and everything else you accomplished. Way to lay the foundation needed for economic development in the County and address all of the infrastructure deficits the community had. It was like watching 25 years of what other Council's accomplished in a matter of 3! As for this Council, way to stiff Grizzly but at least you did one thing!

Aurel, go back to Fort McMurray where the grass was greener apparently. Danny, there will be many behind you.
