RE: Federal cuts dubbed 'attack on science'
..... The Conservatives now have a majority government in Ottawa, and therefore cannot be outvoted in the House of Commons, nor in the Senate. The majority of the members of the House of Commons recently voted for various cuts in order to keep taxes low, or even to decrease taxes. Those (very many?) who want various cuts to be reversed next time should prove to the Conservative Party gurus that it is very important that taxpayers' money should be spent on (whatever).
