Blind man's solar system works great - passively year round?

When a person pulls down a blind, or close's a drape,curtain to keep out the suns solar gain (heat) they just trap the heat short term behind the blind. So when the blind man sells a blind to stop the heat or cool the room it is only temporary coolness. All the solar heat is behind the blind & if you turn on any fan in the room (ceiling fans) it collects the heat from behind the blind,drape,curtain & moves it around the room. A perfect Solar collection system moving the trapped solar heat from behind the blind. People spend thousands for A/C to fight all that radiant solar heat in the summer time. Every home has a active (when fans on) or passive solar heat collection system when not on-every time they close a blind,drape or curtain. No shut off button - unless you install Mylar solar control films onto the glass- Only way to inexpensively solve heat gain from solar heat through glass. So careful if a blind man sells you a solar heat collecting system (especially dark colored ones) & says it will cool your rooms it is actually going to heat them up eh? blind Mans passive & active Solar system really works great. want to see one or maybe the desolarization system developed by N.A.S.A leave a message could be career opportunity for some. Great products are available from many places. Can you suggest anyone who specializes in instalion of the products? Can you or anyone recommend any specific products which provide the best value with regards to price and performance?

-- What I recommend is for you to visit the Sandman Inn or the Star-Light or the Holiday House or even the City Hall in Penticton. The South Okanagan is way ahead of many communities in the application of Passive Solar Capture & Control systems. Most folks do not realize that by closing the drapes/blinds/curtains they just trap the solar gain heat behind the drape/blind where the warm air builds up. Warm air rises goes out the top of the blind/drape then the heat goes across the ceiling to many times the ceiling fan which continually blows the solar heat from the blind/drape/curtain around the room. the only way to solve the solar gain problem & the heat loss through glass is to apply a solar control film onto the glass, like the major buildings do, then the solar heat does not come in, or up to 85% is rejected or absorbed into the film. every home every building should be de-solarized by this inexpensive application thousands could be trained & employed solving this big mistake began by the blind man, who must know now that it is CURTAINS for BLINDS & DRAPES in the future eh? -- OK so you build a wall then you say lets put a window in so as to see outside... you pay big money $$s to do this- Then ( Do you know how Blinds got their name ?? eh?? they blind you, you can't see) so now you say lets bye a Blind so as we can not see out eh??? is that not funny ?? so this Blind man says it will cool the room,, but put your hand behind the blind & the sun has made it 100 deg. Now hot air rises to the ceiling (behind the blind) really a solar collector of heat & the ceiling fan blows the heat down on the folks below. A perfect Solar heat collection system brought by the blind man== solar film solves the problem by reflecting solar heat away & not letting it in the room at all... I think it is "Curtains" for blinds & drapes- solargord in B.C.

Be careful, very very careful of this so called technology. Do your homework before embarking on sticking solar film on your windows and expecting the savings that this guy says you will have.
