-- My contribution was to provide divers, with camera's to for the first time allow the scientists to see the membrane, layer close up & it's extent of coverage within the lake. I wanted the video for my 21st Century Lifestyles show & needed permission, as they do to enter the waters, of this one of the strangest lakes in the world. Mahoney Lake, is part of a chain of strange lakes, lakebeds that exist up on the Willowbrook plateau, above the Okanagan Valley where in the Dreamwalker's - Lands Before the Okanagan - DVD - These Lakes are referred to as the "Lakes of Color's" - Where young ones under the age of 13 - with their gran-parents, uncles, mom's & dad's are directed - to travel up & look for the most colorful of rocks,- Prizmatic- ones & then save them,(letting no one touch them over the age of 12)- Then when the waters of Okanagan Lake & especially down around OK FAlls -- when the waters are fully reflective - the young'ns -- call out to Okey Dokey (son of OGo-Pogo)- & yell - Okey Dokey -- This is for you ... then throw the Pogo egg out into the reflections.... then in 400 years (when okey dokey) is old enough -- He will fertilize them & if GOD ever takes colors away from the earth,.. again.. Their will be lot of new POGO's to color the next version, of life on earth.. Dreamwalker - as folks will see ... is as much about the future, as it is about the past .... Will tell you more about how? all the Pogo eggs got trapped up on the plateau with the Lakes of Colors... Dreamwalkers (2KB4O)-- & the "Inland Sea of Phanta" -- The Alpha story ... in the Omega age eh?

-- if one looks at the sandy cliffs along the hiway at Penticton, BC you can see how at one time the sandy bottom of the inland sea, was connected to each side, a shallow shoreline, that when the last ice dam broke, ripped the whole centre of the sea-bed wide open in the middle - leaving the book-end cliffs on the shores of both sides of Okanagan Lake.. as they are today... The Dreamwalker story tells of all the "islands" in the sea, that today we call little mountains, & waters flowed through the valley's away & out to the Pacific ocean of today... left behind up on the plateau's are the lakes of Color .. White lake, Yellow Lake, Green Lake & Mahony Lake (which has a purple tinge to it)-- The story is still unfolding ... of the lands before the Okanagan, & Dreamwalker -- the spirit of the "Sea of Phanta" -- Will bring forward his version, of how we got to where we are today...?-- & why his spirit is coming forward with this a legendary story of a time B-4 Time .. in a age that seemed ageless ... as fish, whales , swam above Kelowna, Penticton, & Vernon..... until the Ice dam broke 4,000 years ago... 2-K-B-4-O ...... around the inland Sea of Phanta... - The inland sea would have varied in size, during different periods that the glacier's melted back, causing huge sand, silt movement evident by the huge piles, mounds of sand around South-Okanagan. The powerful currents that Dreamwalker would have witnessed, ripped apart the central part of the sea-bed as the water's continued to pour faster & faster down trough the narrow channels like a funnel, around OK Falls, Oliver & south into the Great Senora basin desert. The inland sea, we call (Phanta) levels changed, Nobody would have known when the water's would stop draining away, at what level, would the new shore lines be?-- Who would have known what had happened?- now for the whole world to see was a new land of march's & only fresh water glacier melt.. This NOW was the beginning, before it was named, before it was inhabited, this was - NOW - The Okanagan's Alpha story - the beginning - again - the world changes?- was that global warming & there was no man print to cause it.. unfolding as it should - is the future much like the past?-- We are the futures - Past & they may not believe the garden man built, on a ancient Sea bed.. Dreamwalker's - World was quite different ? 2KB40 -- BC around BC.. eh?

-- 2,000 years before zero-4,000 years ago was the tail end of the glacier's over the North American landscape, & I believe as before the world we know was unfolding from under this blanket of ice & snow.. melting sometimes raging violently through the valley's & channels releasing huge amount so water & sand, as in the Sea of Phanta's case - looking out across the Okanagan Lake you see the same cliffs on both sides of the lake.. meaning the centre is gone... washed away down into the great basin desert, & leaving the scarred ripped open central Okanagan shores the way they are... What a world it would have been before.... above (photo) would be like a little look out that Dreamwalker would play his flute (carved from spear) out to the birds, & animals.... can U see it now..?

Thank you for your comments, on the dreamwalker's story in time others could join in especially with photo's that show the ancient sea's evidences close up, that are left for us to explore. Find out more about how the valley got the way it has.. it is on flickr and it is called dreamwalker's world ... don't forget the apostraphy in dreamwalker's ... thanks .. hope you enjoy, and there is a story within it, on Pogo's and their part in coloring, the valley. That part grows into a interesting discussion on spectrum within light.. that is why the fictionalized part is in the story, although it is founded on mostly facts.. that we can see.. today... do comment on the photo's you think are working?
