Inmate found dead in B.C. prison

Correctional Service Canada says 39-year-old Troy Squires was found unresponsive in his cell at the Mission Institution on Friday.

"Squires had started an indeterminate sentence in January 2006 for forcible confinement, sexual assault, uttering threats, assault with weapon and choking."

I can't say I am terribly broken up by this news.

Nice one! Let that be a lesson to all the sex offenders in Mission! They're better of going to Mountain or the protective custody units at Kent Max.

Mission has a mixed or integrated population. In other words people who were GP (General Population) in provincial remand or other federal penitentiariesare in the same population as the PC (protective custody) prisoners.
