It is simply a matter of time. As unfortunate as it is, you cannot change the fact that most people from Taiwan originated from China and that they were only divided by their civil war. I think its time that we stopped selling Taiwan our military weapons as they will eventually make their way to China anyway. I think China should be very grateful to us. Although it wasn't our intention, our meddling has prevented a reunification war between two poor combatants and replaced it with a peaceful gradual reunification of a rich Taiwan and increasingly rich China.

The way Taiwan's economy is going, the mainland will probably be richer during re-unification in 20 years.

As for the U.S. giving weapons to the Kuomintang government, they should have learned their lesson from the Chinese Civil War, where U.S. weapons given to the Kuomintang were surrendered to the Communists and showed up in the Korean battle field to use against Americans one year later.

After Ma Ying-jeou signs the Across Taiwan Straits Peace Accord, those U.S. weapon systems will show up in a joint military exercise with the PLA in the near future.

Taiwan independence is DEAD. And you'll lose the 2016 and 2020 elections too. Why? Because of those 300,000 mainland wives and their average of 2 kids voting KMT. With 900,000 new KMT voters, Taiwan independence peasants don't have a prayer. Even Goddess Matsu is pan-Blue. Ha ha.

Just remember, you lost this year's election due to 800,000 votes.

You keep believing those figures from 10 years ago. PRC passport is Visa Free to 80 countries and territories now. Like I said, even the best travel writers have been to about 40 countries.

And that's 160 for Taiwan, not 180.

South Korea scrambled F-15s for Japanese helicopter near Takeshima

MSDF chopper flying near disputed islets prompted military response

Kyodo"

Again, with regards to Diauyu, China should learn from Seoul.

Beijing is a bully that is aiming 2000 missiles against Taiwan but is a chicken that lays an egg each time confronted by new Japan Emperor Shintaro Ishihara!

Are you kidding, 6 Chinese military ships just passed Okinawa earlier this week, with 6 marine surveillance ships in the Diaoyu Islands itself today.

As for the missiles, I'm sure they'll be re-aimed at Japan along with the rest after the Peace Across Taiwan Straits Accord is signed.

Yar right! PLAN is only good at 'passing' to escape when confronted by JCG!
