Erdogan moots restoring death penalty in Turkey

Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan said Turkey should consider bringing back the death penalty, a decade after Ankara abolished capital punishment as part of reforms aimed at European Union membership.

Turkey isn't necessarily asking the question of "Should we implement the Death Penalty for the good of us?" Instead its a poor assumption, "They (U.S., Russia, China) have the death penalty, so we should do it too.

If the U.S. thought it was a sure thing, they would have had Federal Law implentation, not up to the state.

Also, being able to judge who should and shouldn't live definitely is not a proper way to try and bribe votes in the next election. It is sick and cruel.
