“Nobody even knows what's in these products.”

Contraband cigarettes are making their way onto school-yards and into the tar-stained fingers of young people, according to a recent study. via Canoe

"Illegal tobacco makes up 24% of Ontario high school smokers' cigarettes and 35% of cigarettes smoked in Quebec schoolyards, says a study commissioned by the Canadian Convenience Stores Association."

Toooooooooo Funny!

Then, in the next breath, the article states that youth smoking is declining???? They would know this how? I'm quite sure that teens smoking any kind of cigs would not be admitting to it, especially those buying contraband.

rANTIS have lied for so long, about so many things, they don't even try anymore to make their lies sensible.

Cigarettes should be illegal.
It poses no benefit, causes cancer and other respitory problems. If such a drug is available to adults or children in any form for recreational purposes than other drugs should also be allowed for recreational purposes.

Legalize Marijuana already.

I think to outlaw cigs is not a good idea. At a certain age you have the choice to light up and put a cancer stick in your mouth (which is not the smart choice), what ever floats there boat i guess, cause i could say out law coca cola and chocalate bars and candy cause it is caused a jump in diabates and weight in childern. They shouldn`t let people bike ride on the side of roads cause people are getting hit but when does the banned of things stop? we could banned till were blue in the face. Lets teach the younger generation of wants bad and good for them and hope they make the right calls.

I agree with Vindle. An outright banning of everything that's not good for you would not be fair, because we'd have to outlaw alcohol, video games, pizza, salt, fries, suger...

Instead, we should just make marajuana as legal as all these other things are. When consumed in moderation, they all can be enjoyable and will not kill us.

Got no problem with pot being legal.
The legalize pot folks and smokers rights people should pool their resources and join up.

Don't think that you can hide with the tobacco smokers outside by being ban shills for those pot smoking hypocrities that subscribe to this notion. Those one-hits still have the telltale pot odor.

We should legalize marijuana, but banning cigarettes would be a mistake.

It would just create a larger black market for cigarettes. Cigarettes are already mixed with a bunch of chemicals, this would be even worse if there was no government oversight. Pretty soon you'd see drug-testing for nicotine, and people would start losing their jobs and resort to crime to pay for their habits. Most cigarette-smokers right now don't resort to crime they pay for their cigarettes honestly. Let's keep it that way.

The only difference between you and I is that I am not pro-choice... I have had to keep my heart in tight constraints because of this law..

But when they started up with this banning, I found myself asking everyone,,Are we a pro-choice nation or not.... But because they can literally wash their hands of every dead child simply by saying It's NOT my child...... they feel free to ban someone from using a legal product that may or may not have an affect on someone else. When abortion means a certain death sentence to a little babe that has no way of defending itself.

At least a non-smoker can walk away.
A babe only has its mother to protect it.

But if a woman doesn't want something in her body it's body and she should be able to have it removed. Even if it's a person the person is infringing on her right to her body by staying inside of it without her permission. It doesn't matter if it's it's fault or not. If you feel asleep and somebody snuck you into somebody's house, and the owner found you it's still their house and they can remove you from their house even though it's not your fault you're in there. They can even do that in the middle of a tornado if they want even though they'd put your life at risk, because it's their property. If it was possible to remove the fetus but keep it alive I'd support doing that instead of abortion, but until then I'm pro-choice on abortion.

Using your own thoughts here..(I think). We should be able to have both types of establishments. Non-smoking and Smoker friendly.. Just as I can not tell you what to do with your body. You should not be able to tell me what to do with mine...

By insisting that I go outside and smoke you are forcing me to take my body out into the cold weather to partake in a legal activity.. Non-smoking establishments were always an option, why are we forced to only be non-smoking. We could have both without offending anyone. Then we both have a choice......

Are we a pro-choice nation or not.?

I say legalize pot, and make it where 21 is the age limit, look at denmark and holland where they smoke freely, and when a person hits the age of majority let them decide what they put into there bodys, Federal Government can't always tell you what to do with your life they act alot like baby sitters, Well the governments now don't anyone one to have rights anymore.... Free The Plant....OR shall we make moon shine and see the population all drunk 24/7
