Toronto man charged in Georgetown break and enter
A Toronto man is facing charges after a Weber Dr. resident saw a man attempting to break into his home Wednesday morning.

Police say shortly after 11 a.m. police were called to the home for a break-in in progress.

As officers arrived, a man fled out the back door of the home to a vehicle on the street. The vehicle was driven a short distance, then the man ran from the vehicle. He was arrested by officers after a brief foot chase.

Charged with break and enter and possession of burglary tools is Jamie Kirk McCaughey, 42, of Toronto. He is to appear in Milton Court today (Thursday)
