Milton woman impaired with baby in back seat, police allege
Milton Canadian Champion
A Milton woman has been charged after she was allegedly found impaired behind the wheel of a vehicle with a child in the back seat.

Halton police said a car was stopped around 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday near Bronte Street South and Heslop Road.

Police said they received calls from local residents who had spotted two women outside the vehicle stumbling around, and later smoking cigarettes in the car with the baby in the back seat.

The vehicle was later seen “driving erratically” around town, police said.

The Children’s Aid Society was contacted and the baby was released into the care of a grandparent, police said.

Charged with impaired driving over 80 is Kayla Jobidon, 27
