Toronto man faces 21 charges in alleged auto thefts

A man accused of stealing over 160 items from vehicles was arrested Wednesday and faces 21 charges, according to Toronto Police.

On May 8, Toronto police executed a search warrant at a home on Newbold Ave., near Gerrard St. E. and Coxwell Ave., where they recovered over 160 items believed to be stolen from various vehicles.

Another 40 items suspected to be stolen property were seized from a second-hand store. The items included identification, electronics and clothing.

Police say that Noah Tyrrell-Malcolm, 32, of Toronto was arrested Wednesday.

He is charged with two counts of use of credit card obtained by crime, two counts of failing to comply with probation, 16 counts of possession of property obtained by crime and possession for the purpose of trafficking in stolen goods under.

Police say that all of the items seized will be made available to view at 55 Division, 101 Coxwell Ave. from 2 to 8 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday for potential victims of the
