Appeal of Burlington riding nomination voting process denied by Ontario PCs

An appeal launched by the membership chair of the Burlington provincial PC Riding Association,

to have the results of its recent candidate nomination meeting overturned and a new vote taken, has been denied.

Colin Pye, a lawyer by trade, told the Post he sent an appeal to the chair of the

Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario's Provincial Nomination Committee on Dec. 5,

on behalf of Burlington riding members who shared concerns about the Nov. 26 vote.
